What can I say - my favourite sleeping place is off limits. The airing cupboard has been shut for several days now. I feel this is a Moggadissue that needs to be raised. A cat comes home and needs a place to sleep after expending energy eating or staring, only to find access to their favourite bed barred. Only the other day, the temperature was down to 80'C and there was no place for me to warm up a bit. I shall be writing to my MP on this one.

What I do is, sneak into their bedroom and at about 2.30am start investigating anything that rustles, like plastic bags with wool in or a magazine left open.
Making "wretching" noises gets them going something rotten.
And always remember to scratch for fleas on the best furniture. Oh there are loads of tricks... -

I never has been in a airing cupboard, but it seems to be a thing purrfect cats do. Can I still be your friend without ever been in one?

Amazing. Surely your humans know the airing cuboard is your favorite spot?

Myself, if the airing cuboard door is closed in error, I hang off the catch pitifully until they give in and open it.
